This representative of the wolf spiders can be found mainly in the Mediterranean region (Croatia, Italy, Spain but also Tyrol). They like to hide under leaves or stones, but also create burrows.
The bite is harmless to humans. Based on our own experience, we can say that the young animals are very sensitive and rearing them can be frustrating and complicated.
